The opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Internal Group Finance, this position is responsible for assisting with the treasury and finance operations of our Canada, US and Mexico international financing, operating and holding companies. This role is ideal for someone searching for their start in the Treasury and Finance industry.

What you’ll do
• Assist IGF International Canada, US and Mexico with bank account administration, wire payments, investments, promissory notes and debt/equity transactions
• Monitor bank accounts and tracking transactions
• Compile and distribute reports & documents to various stakeholders
• Maintain complete and accurate records
• Liaise with internal and international service providers and employees
• Assist with setting up intercompany loans, both North American and international
• Assist with the preparation of agendas and board materials for meetings
• Input transactions in SAP and process as required and maintain standard backup for audit purposes
• Preparation finance presentations and funds flow diagrams
• Testing of SAP systems, procedures and assistance with training documentation and possible innovation of work
• Updating various forecasts and reports to capture appropriate debt, equity, and interest amounts
• Assist with coordinating project plans and updating teams on milestones
Minimum Qualifications
• Relevant undergraduate degree is required
• 2 years of experience in Treasury, Finance, Accounting is preferred
• Strong computer skills in the MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Word, PowerBI, Adobe Sign

Preferred Qualifications
• Working knowledge of SAP and PowerBI would be considered an asset
• Understanding of legal organizational charts would be considered an asset
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines
• Well-developed analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills
• Results-oriented approach along with ability to complete tasks independently
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Experience with project management would be considered an asset
