NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Lead Clinical Research Coordinator / Site Manager to lead clinical research operations at a dedicated clinical trials unit in Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical trials while driving recruitment targets and optimising site performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage clinical site staff to ensure high-quality trial delivery in compliance with GCP and regulatory standards
- Oversee site resources, recruitment targets, facilities, and equipment management
- Act as primary contact for sponsors and suppliers at site level
- Ensure staff training, performance management, and professional development
- Collaborate with investigators and recruitment teams to achieve study goals
- Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement in workflows
- Maintain strong relationships with service providers and healthcare facilities
- Nursing or health-related qualification (diploma or bachelor’s degree)
- GCP training and understanding of local regulatory requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in interventional clinical trials
- Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical and CRO industries
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Competent with MS Office; experience with Office 365 is an advantage
- Australian driver’s licence
- Certificate in Project Management
- Experience with GP prescribing and practice management systems
