Role: Lead Site Document Controller
Full time: 40 hours per week
Expected Start Date: 01-08-2025
Expected End Date: 31-03-2026

In this role you will be working as the Lead Document Controller of a site team managing documents and maintaining records in line with project requirements and ensuring that all documentation is processed in accordance with agreed procedures

In this role you will be working as the Lead Document Controller of a site team managing documents and maintaining records in line with project requirements and ensuring that all documentation is processed in accordance with agreed procedures
- Ensure that all technical project drawings and documentation are received, checked, accurately recorded and distributed using the client’s EDMS system WebDMS as instructed to the contractor and client’s personnel and also distributed to Contractors.
- Ensure site, client, supplier and third-party documents are received, processed and returned in a timely manner.
- Assist with the production of reports as required, including regular exception reports for Site Management team use
- Assist with the production of document packages as required.
- Ensure responses to/from HO Engineering are handled efficiently to ensure deadlines are met
- Relevant experience with a proven track record in engineering and construction of refinery, oil & gas, petro-chemical or similar facilities
- A pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done
- Good attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good experience with database systems and spreadsheets
- Self-motivated, energetic and tenacious
- Relevant technical understanding to carry out Site Document Control activities to communicate with and influence those in the project, client and contractor teams
