Lead E&I Project Engineer Perth based – SOR Permanent role Salary $165 - $175k plus super

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead E&I Project Engineer to join our Major Projects team. This full-time role is critical in delivering Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EIC) projects across all stages of the project lifecycle—from design and procurement to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities • Deliver EIC project scopes in compliance with regulatory and internal standards. • Coordinate and review EIC design, calculations, and documentation. • Manage vendors, subcontractors, and external consultants. • Oversee installation, commissioning, and handover activities. • Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and capital requests. • Support continuous improvement of EIC engineering practices and documentation. • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all project activities.
Qualifications & Experience • Degree in Electrical Engineering and eligible for Engineers Australia membership. • Senior or lead level experience in EIC roles within mining, energy, or process manufacturing sectors. • Strong technical and project management skills across EIC design, installation, and commissioning. • Proficient in cost forecasting, schedule tracking, and contractor supervision. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration abilities.
