About the Role
An excellent opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic, proactive, and curious Advisor LME Delivery to join our Fleet Planning & Delivery team in the HME Engineering division. We are responsible for the planning, budgeting, procuring, specifications, build supervision, and delivery of all LME assets for the Pilbara Mining Operations, and are looking for a suitable team member to coordinate and manage our Light Vehicle builds and deliveries.

About the Role
An excellent opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic, proactive, and curious Advisor LME Delivery to join our Fleet Planning & Delivery team in the HME Engineering division. We are responsible for the planning, budgeting, procuring, specifications, build supervision, and delivery of all LME assets for the Pilbara Mining Operations, and are looking for a suitable team member to coordinate and manage our Light Vehicle builds and deliveries.
Reporting to the Principal – LME Fleet Planning & Delivery this role will be accountable for:
- Engage with all vendors throughout the project on tracking of all builds. This may include the third party suppliers to the vendors where required
- Liaise with vendors weekly to ensure project is delivered as scheduled and assist where required to meet targets.
- Inspect all vehicle prior to Site Delivery (Use of IAuditor, Excel Project sheet input, Shared Folder Data Inputs)
- Create, review, assist Fleet team with all specifications per build, Build guides for vendors and any documents needed for all vendors
- Be the main point of contact for Pre-Delivery managers for anything they may be required
- Hold vendors accountable where required to meet our targets and KPI’s to ensure project stays on track
- Weekly/Monthly meetings with vendors and suppliers to discuss project execution and highlight any risks as early as possible to ensure project isn’t jeopardised.
- Coach vendors to understand our expectations and requirements of our assets
- Ensure Safety in the workplace is adhered to and our contract partners are not putting their teams at risk with our Project requirements.
- Coach vendors in understanding our QA requirements and the effects it may have once delivered to our sites
- Continuous improvement on a daily basis and working with all teams to ensure we build a quality product at the right price.
- Liaise with site LME workshops and end users with site visits for feedback on the fleet we build and make changes for future builds
- Assist with Forecasting supply chain and bottlenecks with third party suppliers
- Long term project forecasting and reporting.
What you’ll bring

- An understanding of Light Mobile Equipment mechanics
- Be able to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders from varied levels of management
- A track record of project management and associated project management skills
- An understanding of the impact of delays and the ability to circumvent these proactively
- MS Office suite proficiency
- A drive to proactively improve processes and grow within a team
- Agile problem solving skill
- C Class driving license
