Job Specification
Leads and provides the technical safety engineering inputs for the development of basic engineering, and detail design phases. Leads the review of key deliverables such as technical safety design basis, Loss prevention philosophies, and technical safety reports, Quantitative Risk Assessment, Fire and Explosion Risk Analysis, and Fire water network design analysis.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience
Minimum 8 years of engineering experience of brownfield modifications to oil and gas or similar facilities which must include offshore.
Technical and Business Skills
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of process safety design and analysis.
Experience of participation in HAZOP, HAZID and SIL Rating workshops.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbal in English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good organisational skills.
Good computer literacy in professional and technical packages.
