Machine Setter (night shift)

Role:        Machine Setter - Night shift
Hours:-     Monday - Thursday 22:00pm to 06:15am  & Friday 18:00 to midnight 
 Rate:       £15.90p/h  +holidays
Duration:  6months – ongoing
Based:      Coleshill, Birmingham, B46   

To maintain high integrity for Health & Safety, Environment and Quality to support the business in maintaining and improving upon the standards expected

• Achieve the efficient running of the Corrugation cell by setting tooling onto machinery and modifying conditions to ensure product quality is within specification
• To work in accordance with the company quality manual
• Monitor the quality of conduit produced with reference to drawings, specifications, systems and agreed checking frequency resolving any issues that may occur
• Take an active role in improving department’s efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure high standard of housekeeping at all times.
• Ensure equipment you are operating is in its optimum condition by reporting and resolving any faults
• Suggest to management any improvements that will reduce costs and improve quality    
• Other duties may have to be undertaken which will be determined by the Company.
