From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
Aker Solutions is now looking for a Maintenance Engineer with experience from onshore or offshore projects. The project can be lead from Bergen, Stavanger or Trondheim.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge around technical hierarchy, consequence analysis/criticality analysis, RCM analysis, and FMECA.
  • Suggest preventive maintenance (PM/CBM) programs.
  • Follow-up spare part evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to project execution models, schedules, and budget, and focus on quality and HSSE aspects.
  • Responsibilities around both Execution and Study work.
  • Split location work.
Skills and Levels Description:
  • Experience in reliability and maintenance.
  • Higher technical education.
  • Knowledge of operational and maintenance requirements for industrial facilities, particularly oil & gas and renewables.
  • Understanding of equipment functionality and performance.
  • Knowledge of Norsok Z-008 and ISO 14224.
  • Skilled in CMMS systems and SAP.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian is an added advantage.
