  Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Support Material Specialist (Data Analyst) to support proactive and reactive obsolescence management by leveraging SAP expertise and data analytics. This role involves close collaboration with discipline engineers to ensure efficient material planning, obsolescence tracking, and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities
  • Extract, analyze, and upload data in SAP PM and MM modules.
  • Develop templates, reports, and dashboards to support obsolescence management.
  • Investigate equipment and spare part usage via BOMs, reservations, and work orders.
  • Classify and prioritize stock items based on criticality and business impact.
  • Coordinate with discipline engineers and vendors to assess obsolescence status.
  • Utilize impact matrices to guide mitigation actions and procurement strategies.
  • Initiate and manage eMOC processes for engineering changes.
  • Conduct engineering feasibility studies and develop mitigation solutions.
  • Maintain and update asset registers and material masters in SAP.
  • Perform statistical analysis and generate KPIs and reliability reports.
  • Support technical bid evaluations for new projects with obsolescence insights.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
  • Proven expertise in SAP PM and MM modules; certifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with Meridium and Master Data Governance (MDG) is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage cross-functional collaboration.
