Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical and Piping Supervisor to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and piping systems across industrial facilities. This role ensures that all mechanical and piping works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all mechanical and piping activities on-site, including fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks to maintain high safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, QA/QC teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, material usage, and inspection records.
  • Support mechanical completion and handover processes, including punch list management.
  • Ensure proper implementation of welding procedures, pressure testing, and alignment practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in mechanical and piping supervision, preferably in industrial, petrochemical, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of piping codes (ASME, API, etc.) and mechanical standards.
  • Proven experience in managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in industrial gas or similar process industries.
  • Certification in welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP, AWS) or piping inspection (API 570).
  • Knowledge of digital tools for construction management and documentation.
