We’re seeking a hands-on Mechanical Project Manager to join our client's team, delivering sustaining capital projects across fixed plant infrastructure on site. This is a site-based role focused on practical delivery — coordinating contractors, managing mechanical upgrades, and keeping projects moving.

We’re seeking a hands-on Mechanical Project Manager to join our client's team, delivering sustaining capital projects across fixed plant infrastructure on site. This is a site-based role focused on practical delivery — coordinating contractors, managing mechanical upgrades, and keeping projects moving.
Role Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: 6 months
- Roster: 8/6 preferred (flexible to 4/3 depending on project workload and shutdown activity)
- Rate: $100–$120/hr + Super, commensurate with experience
- No direct reports — this is a delivery-focused role, reporting to the Superintendent - Projects

- Classifier replacements
- Chute replacement and piping works
- Firewater upgrades
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10 years’ experience in mechanical project delivery in small-scale sustaining capital projects
- Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience
- Background in fixed plant projects, ideally within mining or heavy industry
- Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple contractors
- Resilience and adaptability during shutdowns and high-pressure delivery phases
