My client is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to support the construction of the new ground up Semi truck manufacturing facility that requires exceptional talent. Their environment is fast-paced and incredibly exciting. The position is located in Sparks, NV.  

Responsibilities:
• Management of the planning, procurement, execution and close-out of mechanical systems, including process systems, HVAC and plumbing
• Develop execution plans to ensure cost and schedule expectations are achieved
• Develop funding requests for new projects
• Perform constructability reviews during design development to ensure engineering documents meet project needs
• Work with the Procurement team to create biddable work packages and verify contractor proposals against cost/schedule estimates
• Interface with engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams
• Ensure a high level of quality and safety is maintained during field execution  

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or related 10+ years related experience
• Experience as a Project or Construction Manager on $50M+ industrial or commercial construction projects
• Proven experience in the areas of process piping, wet and dry systems, plumbing and other mechanical systems associated with manufacturing facilities
• Knowledge of mechanical codes and standards, including ASTM, ASHRAE and ASME
• Proficiency in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance and variance analysis
• Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field to ensure project objectives are being met
• Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
