Job Title : Offshore Method Engineer

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical or Related.
Working Experiences : More than 5 years in similar position or similar field

Required Skills/Qualifications/Certifications:
  • Proficiency in offshore structure installation and operation, including design and execution of installation aids in coordination with drafting and vessel operations.
  • Experience in offshore pipeline and subsea installation, including ancillary equipment, and collaboration with drafting and vessel operations.
  • Familiarity with engineering design criteria, methods, and workflows from conceptual to site engineering phases.
  • Knowledge of international engineering standards, codes, and regulations, with the ability to analyze project requirements and resolve engineering non-conformities.
  • Expertise in quantity estimation for engineering disciplines and management of engineering project documents.
  • Capability to monitor engineering progress, contribute to project reporting, and utilize technical software tools.

Brief Job Description:
  • Report to the Offshore Method Lead and establish a general engineering schedule as per contract requirements.
  • Identify and address technical problems within contractual limitations, define task specifications, and approve technical designs for purchase or construction.
  • Participate in meetings and technical examinations with clients, ensuring decisions affecting contractual obligations are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Notify superiors of any engineering issues and perform necessary verifications and calculations for methodology implementation.
  • Supervise and verify methodology drafting, summarize activities in manuals, and ensure operational personnel receive required data.
  • Participate in offshore activities as a field engineer when needed, verifying equipment and materials.
