Knowledge
  • Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
  • Fully familiar with the technical specification and application of rotating equipment within an offshore oil and gas facility, including the procurement, installation, and commissioning requirements. Particularly turbine driven compressors and generators.
  • Conversant with mechanical equipment design requirements using API, ANSI, ASME, and other applicable codes and standards.
  • Fully familiar with the procurement, testing, installation, and commissioning of major rotating equipment in the offshore environment.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the full project cycle from concept development through to installation.
Experience
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience mechanical rotating equipment design and specification, including considerable practical experience in the fabrication and installation for offshore facilities.
  • Experience of working as part of a multi discipline team for facilities engineering projects and/or offshore development projects.
