The opportunity:
A chance to join a T1 mining house on an initial 6 or 12 month contract, working in a Perth-based position (M-F), the start date will be in July 2025. You will be joining the Operational Readiness team whose remit includes a portfolio of capital projects across both greenfield and brownfield environments. Generally speaking, you will joining a team tasked with ensuring a smooth transition from project to operations, across all delivery functions.

Some of your duties will include:
- Commissioning planning and execution.
- Systems and procedure development such as SOPs, maintenance & reliability strategies.
- Implementation of safety/training programs.
- Facilitating the handover between construction/project teams and the operations teams.
- Risk management.
Your experience:
- Mechanical Engineering background
- Experienced with SAP Plant Maintenance Master Data
- Experience in mining
- An understanding of operational readiness fundamentals
- Experienced with the project lifecycle
- Clear communication & the ability to build rapport with stakeholders
You'll get:
- An hourly rate + Superannuation
- Mon-Fri, 38 hour week
- Occasional visits to site
- Exposure to various projects
- Ongoing contract with the option to go FTE when the time is right
