NES Fircroft is recruiting an Order Management Specialist on behalf of our client based in Didsbury, Manchester. This is an initial 12-month contract with the potential for extensions. Mon-Fri, 36hrs per week. Hybrid working.

Job Description
We are looking for an Order Management Specialist to support the client’s Order Management team with end-to-end order processing, related documentation, data management. In this role, you’ll be able to learn more about how logistics team function within a global organization. Your main responsibilities include:
  • Ensure customer service and on time supply performance is delivered by following processes and system setting
  • Follow daily and on time Order Processing, Delivery creation including initiation of Master Data updates, Customer Profiles and price agreements in SAP
  • Pro-actively communicate with market and supply contacts to identify and correct issues in a timely fashion
  • Develop skills and knowledge to support added value activities such as forecast acquisition projects, improvement work, logistics expertise etc.
  • Effectively share information to the overall benefit of EAME Logistics and Order Management 

Qualifications and required experience
  • Degree or equivalent working experience in Business or Supply Chain
  • Proven experience in a similar position, order management or commercial preferably in the chemical or pharmaceutical Industry
  • Cross-functional knowledge with emphasis on familiarity with Sales and Marketing (e.g. new product introductions, life-cycle management)
  • User knowledge of the SAP SD/MM module (O2C/D&C processes)
  • Fluency in English and additional European language knowledge is beneficial
  • Proactive and can-do attitude with good problem-solving skills
Skills: 
  • Detailed understanding of Supply Chain Processes & Order Management processes across EAME
  • Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) & trade compliance within a multinational company
  • Cross-functional knowledge with emphasis on familiarity with Sales and Marketing (e.g. new product introductions, life-cycle management)
  • SAP SD/MM module (O2C/D&C processes)
  • Foreign trade knowledge and Export business expertise
  • Sales/commercial experience and knowledge
  • Proven experience in a similar position, order management or commercial
  • Experience in a chemical or pharmaceutical Industry
  • Focus on cost control and process optimization
