Piping Layout Engineer   
 
Contract period: 29.04.2024 - 30.04.2026
Location: Asker

Main Tasks:

- Perform general layout evaluations and piping layout activities by using Aveva E3D modelling & Draft tools.
- Evaluate access, working environment and material handling in physical layout and design.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree.
- Preferably experienced within Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind layouts and Hydrogen projects.
- 10-15 years + experience layout design, E3D/PDMS modelling.
- Experience with concept development work.
- Experience and understanding in Greenfield and Brownfield design.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations for layout design.
- Have multidiscipline understanding and act proactive, seeking advice/share experience in design processes.
- Cooperative working attitude and participate in design reviews.
- Layout and design based on NorSok knowledge and have loyalty to project deadlines and quality requirements. 
- Some offshore-, fabrication- and commissioning- and site support experience preferred.
- Intercultural competence and acceptance for multicultural working teams, have to be acknowledged.
- Good communication skills in English required, spoken and in writing. 
- Norwegian language skills will be appreciated but is not required for the position. However, willingness to learn Norwegian is still a requirement.
