NES Fircroft are currently supporting a world-leading EPC to find their next Planning Engineer to join their Process and Chemical Team, focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries.
The position will be based in Antwerp at client site-- 12 months contract (renewable).
The role:
Being part of the Project Control Department, the Planning Engineer will provide a complete planning service to the project management team, that has proven expertise in managing large, complex projects with a global reach.
The selected candidate will be working for major international clients in the energy market and material market, and you will be part of a team results focused that will provide technical solutions.

Key Requirements:
- Development of detailed schedules in conjunction with the project team with the project and Owner team
- Development of progress measurement systems and reporting of progress and productivity
- Co-ordination of schedule interfaces between clients' and EPC contractors' activities
- Provide regular forecasting of project schedule including key milestones
- Production of weekly and monthly progress reports to the project management team
Qualifications:
- Bachelors (minimum) or Masters (preferred) degree in relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of similar experience preferably at site
- Expert with Primavera P6 and spreadsheets, with database capability

- Willing to share information with the team
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Eligible to work in Belgium
