Position: Pressure System Integrity Engineer
Location: Remote based with trips to Angola
Rotation: 4 weeks in-country / 8 weeks remote or 5 weeks in-country / 10 weeks remote
Duration: 12 months

Job Description
The Asset Integrity Engineer is responsible for implementing comprehensive Reliability programs, including Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Mechanical integrity programs, Inspection program development and facility or equipment/piping/structure condition assessment.

Accountabilities
•            Administering topside inspection activities including repair jobs, ensure the integrity of the repair work, review the final inspection reports, finalize a rigorous and proactive strategy to avoid events re-occurrence.
•            Providing recommendations on the scoping of temporary and permanent repairs to meet requirements of applicable codes and standards regarding to material requirements and equipment improvements in accordance with Design Codes and standards.
•            Providing guidance on the development and implementation of critical equipment inspection plans using recognized techniques like Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Risk Based Inspections (RBI), or Inspection Codes. Defining the time between inspections (frequency), and computerized techniques.
•            Providing guide and/or support for analysis and interpretation of 3rd party inspections reports and define effective corrective actions to optimize the total equipment life cycle costs.
•            Monitoring the indicators of Operating Integrity; (Pressure vessel, pipelines, cargo tanks, engine room, etc.)
•            UWILD campaign preparation and monitoring (including contractors, technique and SOW definition)
•            Providing support to apply engineering theory, practices, and principles to perform physical failure analysis, determine root cause of equipment (vessels, piping, fixed structure, etc.) failures and conduct equipment performance evaluations (Fitness for Service)
•            Participate in Asset Optimization studies using primary data sources such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), heat and material balance, P&IDs, and isometrics for fixed equipment and piping systems.
•            To consider always the HSE implication in changing parameters and in the routine and non-routine operations
•            Following up Management of Change implementation (e.g. Modifications to operating set points/Plant facilities and equipment; Modifications to Unit/Plant facilities for material change and new chemicals usage; Risk Assessment in case of loss of containment, loss of functionality, etc.)

Essential Education 
•            A relevant engineering degree preferably in Mechanical/Material Science
Desirable Attributes
•            Minimum 5-10 years of specific experience in Integrity Management in oil & gas industry.
•            Experience and knowledge of integrity management software systems such as NEXUS, BassNet, ACET, Palladio, etc. is preferred.
•            Thorough understanding of NDT techniques based on delivered job.
•            Thorough understanding of defect assessment techniques in accordance with relevant codes / standards (APIs, ASME, ASTM, etc.)
•            Thorough knowledge of pressure vessel and pipe work design and inspection codes of practice, standards (APIs, ASME, ASTM, etc.)
•            Knowledge of related standards / regulatory requirements.
•            Versatile and flexible team player with good verbal and written communication skills.
•            Thorough knowledge about Coating/painting
•            Thorough understanding about materials
•            Thorough understanding about remaining life calculation for piping & vessels as per API standard.
