Process Engineer
NESFircroft is a proud partner of this company within the tank terminal industry and working together to support their growth in The Netherlands in their search for a process engineer for the HQ in Rotterdam.
They are currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to be part of our transformational journey.
You will support the company's growth initiatives by providing support to the Clusters, BD and PMO/Project Directors so as to ensure speedy, cost effective, sustainable and proven technological solutions towards design and construction of terminals with focus on new energies and emerging technologies. You will partner closely with the BD / Commercial groups, Clusters and terminals. Finally, you will share knowledge from the corporate centre towards the terminals/clusters and vice versa as also with the CoEE and Growth Engineering community.

Your Tasks:
  • Supervise and support the design and construction of tank terminals and its related infrastructure.
  • Be a part of or lead the team towards preparation of conceptual studies, FEED, permit engineering, QRA, basic and detailed engineering, draw equipment specifications, prepare estimates and evaluate vendor / contractors’ offers.
  • Develop conceptual studies, prepare engineering documents and vendor specifications, prepare estimates, evaluate and manage costs as well as a schedule of tasks in close coordination with the clusters to optimize costs, processes and quality. Also review existing specifications and develop new technical specification as may be required to stay abreast with the new technological developments.
  • Coordinate and interact with the clusters about project reviews, technical analysis and peer reviews. Also participate in HAZOP and other engineering studies.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
Your Profile:
  • Master Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Oil & Gas background – ideally with tank terminal experience.
  • minimum of 3 years’ experience in design or construction of LNG/Ammonia/LPG storage terminals. Knowledge of relevant European codes and standards is expected.
  • The position is specific for the growth engineering group and requires expertise in the field of storage and handling of refrigerated and cryogenic fluids such as butane, propane, propylene, LNG and ammonia. Some experience and knowledge of hydrogen handling would be added advantage.
  • Open mindedness and positive attitude.

  • Demonstrates strong negotiation skills.
  • Patient and confident in her/his professional role.
  • Proficient in English (read, write, speak) being multilingual will be a distinct advantage.
