About our client:
Our client is a proudly Australian owned and operated organisation that is a prominent player in the circular economy sector. With two active oil re-refineries, they offer a comprehensive recycling solution for used lubricating oil generated within the country.
As a result of their sustained accomplishments, they are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their operations team.

Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Refinery Manager, the role encompasses hands-on engagement in operations, process enhancement, and small-scale projects spanning the company's diverse initiatives.

This role presents a unique platform for acquiring sought after experiences within the resource recovery and renewables domains.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily process monitoring and fault analysis
  • Optimisation of plant operations for enhanced yield and energy efficiency
  • Management of on-site engineering projects and design
  • Review and enhancement of standard operating procedures
  • Provision of leadership, expertise, and guidance to operations personnel
 
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering
  • Oil and Gas industry experience, refinery experience a strong nice to have
  • Enthusiasm, focus, and a hands-on approach
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a clear potential for leadership
