    • Job Overview:


      We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to support our mining operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring equipment, materials, and services necessary for efficient mining operations. This role requires a solid understanding of engineering principles, supply chain management, and the unique requirements of the mining industry.




      Key Responsibilities:

       
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines, budgets, and technical requirements.
    • Source suppliers and evaluate bids for mining equipment, consumables, and services.
    • Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine procurement needs.
    • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable prices and delivery conditions.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations (e.g., safety, environmental, local content).
    • Collaborate with engineering, project, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and integration of purchased items.
    • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster continuous improvement and reliability.
    • Monitor market trends, pricing, and new products or technologies in the mining sector.
    • Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier evaluations.
    • Resolve procurement-related issues such as delivery delays, quality concerns, or cost overruns.



      Working Conditions:

       
    • May require to be based on site (remote mining locations) with rotational schedule.
    • Site-based in construction sites (rotational schedules).


      Preferred Qualifications:

       
    • Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, PMP, CPSM).
    • Experience working on large-scale mining projects (surface or underground).
    • Understanding of sustainability and local content requirements in procurement.



      Qualifications:

       
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mining, Industrial, or related field).
    • 5-7+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably in the mining or heavy industrial sector.
    • Knowledge of mining equipment, spare parts, and operational needs.
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
    • Familiarity with international and local procurement laws and practices.
    • Open for Local (Indonesia) Candidates only.
    • Site based: rotational 8 weeks ON/ 2 weeks OFF.
    • Location: Pomalaa Southeast Sulawesi.
