Our client, a well-known Tier One mining operator, is looking for the next Product Acceptance Specialist to join the team on a contract basis. This FIFO role will have a roster of mainly 8:6 and may have potential for night shifts.
The Product Acceptance Specialist is responsible for the validation of all Fortex suite of products, along with the development of any tutorial related documentation to assist/mentor current and future end-users in all aspects of the delivered product(s).
Experience:
• At least 3 years site-based experience, with technology-based mixed mining fleet exposure
• Proficiency in the knowledge and application of a Fleet Management System
• Analytical mindset with a holistic approach, strong problem-solving skills, and quantitative aptitude
• A proven ability to mentor and influence a team
• Advanced Level in Microsoft Suite of programs and other corporate programs, combined with a passion for technology
• Proven experience in validation testing
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of Mines Regulations and Act and Occupational, Health and Safety legislation and other relevant legislation and regulations
• Good understanding of mining production principles and key drivers to a successful dispatching / fleet control operation
• Strong understanding of efficiency drivers in a large-scale mining operation
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Ability to undertake quality risk assessments
Full working Australian rights will be required. Perth based candidates or candidates planning a relocation to Perth preferred
