Production Engineer Are you driven by making things better, faster, and more reliable—every single day?
Do you enjoy solving complex problems, not just once, but for good?

We’re looking for a Production Engineer who thrives on improving processes and building bridges between departments. In this role, you’ll work closely with Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Operations to ensure our manufacturing processes are lean, scalable, and future-proof.

Your mission? Identify inefficiencies, eliminate waste, and implement smart solutions that drive quality and productivity—without compromising on safety.

Your Impact
  • Analyze, improve, and standardize production workflows, ensuring repeatability and scalability.

  • Act as the go-to troubleshooter for complex issues in production—mechanical, electrical, or software-related—and ensure long-term fixes are implemented.

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, R&D, and Quality to prepare for new product introductions and align production requirements with design intent.

  • Translate lessons from the shop floor into clear work instructions, process documentation, and improvement roadmaps.

  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, standard work, and process optimization.

  • Conduct time studies, design jigs and fixtures, and apply lean tools to improve throughput and operator ergonomics.

  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards through regular checks and proactive improvements.

What You Bring
  • A BA (MBO-4) or MSc degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

  • 7+ years of experience in a high-tech or precision manufacturing environment.

  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and a track record of applying them (5S, Kaizen, etc.).

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechatronics, electronics, PCBs, and the ability to read electrical diagrams.

  • Hands-on skills in soldering, wiring, and sub-assembly work.

  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, VNAs, etc.) to analyze production problems.

  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).

  • A proactive, improvement-driven mindset, with a structured way of working and strong attention to detail.

  • A natural collaborator who can work across diverse departments and disciplines to get things done.

Depending on the role, a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) may be required before or during employment.
