Production Technician
We’re looking for a motivated and mechanically inclined Production Technician who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on, field-based environment. This role involves working closely with field teams to maintain and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field-based equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose operational issues and perform root cause failure analysis.
  • Participate in pre- and post-job reviews and manage contractor activities.
  • Collect and validate field data, investigate customer and third-party concerns.
  • Support safety and quality assurance processes across operations.
  • Drive improvements by identifying and eliminating defects and variability in systems.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, especially with remote teams via phone, video, or virtual assist tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to solve field challenges.
  • Understanding of oil and gas systems from reservoir to sales line.
  • Willingness to learn and grow technical capabilities.
  • Experience in basic failure analysis and decision-making using data.
  • High interest and aptitude for working with new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and repairing components such as level controllers, displacement valves, switches, pumps, vessels, and flare systems.
  • Knowledge of artificial lift systems including gas lift, plunger lift, and wellhead compression.
  • Comfortable working with high-pressure systems (up to 3,000 psig).
  • Demonstrated adaptability and a growth mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a confident, curious, and collaborative approach.
Physical Demands:This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements. Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 50 lbs is also required. Use of computers and phones is periodic.
