We are working with Woodside Energy, recruiting for a Project Coordinator to support multiple projects across global travel solutions. This is an initial 12-month contract based in Perth.

Roles and responsibilities:
  • Ensuring strategic alignment; by working closely with the GIMS Program manager, GIMS Stream Leads and the Contractors Project team.
  • Prioritisation assessments and coordination of Global Travel Solutions projects.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure adherence to the project plan, schedule and objectives.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams; Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team, internal and external stakeholders and the Contractor. Organising and scheduling project meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure that important discussions and decisions are documented. 
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. 
  • Resource Allocation: Optimise the allocation of resources to maximise efficiency and productivity.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required objectives, per the scope of Work. Monitor alignment with the program's goals and timelines.
  • Assist in conducting quality checks and reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills/Experience:
  • Experience: Previous experience in project coordination or working on project teams, or a related role is preferred. Familiarity with project management tools and software is essential and the individual must possess strong business acumen. 
  • Teamwork: The Project Coordinator must be able to work collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives. This includes cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities is essential in this dynamic project environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, is required, including a firm understanding of Gantt charts, dependencies and project tracking processes.
  • Change Management: Knowledge regarding change management is highly desired.
  • Strong stakeholder management, relationship building and influencing skills.
