Our energy sector client is currently hiring a Project Engineer on a permanent basis in Aberdeenshire.

The Project Engineer role will be integrated into the Projects department with the purpose of supporting the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects across manufacturing and offshore sectors.

Responsibilities and Duties
Duties include but may not be restricted to:
• Directly oversee the timely delivery of manufacturing and offshore projects.
• Liaise with clients to understand and interpret specifications and
requirements.
• Construct cost, time, and resource estimates and provide quotations.
• Define project scope and coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate, monitor, and assist all parties to meet project milestones, budget, and quality standards.
• Prepare and present technical documentation for clients and third parties.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and company guidelines.
• Demonstrate behaviour consistent with core values.
• Work in a methodical, structured, and safe manner.

Proposed Interactions
• Reporting directly to Line Manager.
• Interact directly with other departments in offices.
• Interact directly with Clients

Qualifications Essential
• Previous experience in a Project Engineering role
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with CAD software

Desirable
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
• Understanding of ISO 9001 QA systems
