NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPCI Oil & NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPCI Oil & Gas client looking to add a Project Engineering Coordinator to join their team in Paris. The role will be contract based initial 12 month with excellent potential to extend. It will require a candidate to be based from their office in Paris full time Monday – Friday.
Role Overview
The Engineering department is opening a new role of Project Engineering Coordinator to work closely with the Project Engineering Managers and be part of the team responsible for project success. Project Engineering Coordinator will oversee engineering reporting, accomplish administrative tasks and support technical teams working on Projects, reporting functionally to the Project Engineering Coordinator Discipline Lead and operationally to the Project Engineering Manager on the Project.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare regular reports for the PEM to support dashboards and KPIs follow-up.
• Feed Synergi database (e.g. design reviews, significant deviations, action follow up).
• Manage Engineering Registers on Project (e.g. Technical Queries, Deviations,
Lessons Learned, Onshore Technical Changes, Offshore Management of Changes,
etc…): ensure consistent set-up, follow-up utilisation by the team, perform status reporting, expedite actions as appropriate
• Set-up and maintain SharePoint Interfaces Management System for the project.
• Manage Project Engineering SharePoint Site and Teams: organise and structure
the storage of information to ensure consistency, traceability and visibility among
projects, manage access requests.
• Support MDR (Master Document Register) set-up and update.
• Perform and support action tracking and expediting.
• Support project close-out and expedite issuing final documentation.
• Support Project Engineering Manager in efficient delivery.
• Organize multi-disciplinary meetings (e.g. Engineering Reviews, Risk
Assessments, HAZID, HAZOP, etc…)
• Manage onboarding of new engineers on the project ensuring their induction to
project information, expectations and organisation.
• Prepare and update organisation charts for project engineering team.
• Follow up holidays and work from home schedule.
• Ensure timely submission and approval of timesheets.
• Take initiative to propose and develop the current process to take benefits from the latest IT technology to be efficient (e.g. Power BI dashboards, Teamcenter PLM systems…).
• Work with Project Engineering Coordinator Discipline Lead on solutions to encountered challenges - maintain and develop tools to improve the process.
Key Competencies:
Demonstrable experience of work in project environment
• Good IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, Visio
• Communicates effectively at all levels
• Good organisational skills, organised, and rigorous
• Demonstrates positive attitude and flexibility in work approach
• Works well independently with minimal supervision
• Works effectively as part of a team
• Good command of English language, written and spoken
• Create a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea7 and ensure familiarity with and
adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices
