Project Planner/Scheduler (PPS)
The PPS reports operationally to the Project Manager and functionally to the Projects Controls Director.
This mission consists in supporting various projects.
JOB SUMMARY :
The Project Planner/Scheduler uses specialized knowledge and skills to solve complex and unique problems.
The incumbent establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks and uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices. Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of project controls to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and project strategy.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :
- Drive effective execution of Planning and Scheduling services on one or several projects.
- Actively interfaces with engineering leads, procurement specialists, and field execution personnel to develop resource loaded detailed integrated EPC schedules.
- Actively interfaces with engineering leads, procurement specialists, and field execution personnel to obtain needed schedule performance status updates for including into integrated project performance reporting.
- Provides resources charts and written schedule status analysis to project team.
- Provides project priorities to project team members to drive project completion.
- Actively participates in identification of negative trends and identifying corrective action recommendations to project manager and team members.
- Perform project schedule forecasting and reporting.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
- 5+ years scheduling/planning experience on engineering/construction projects in Oil&Gas
- Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6 required with expert knowledge preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in facilitating interactive Planning Sessions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Skill should include pivot tables, formulas, chart creation and managing large data files).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to function within a project team.
- Fluency in French and English.
