Job Description Our client is seeking a Project Surveyor to join its Survey & Positioning department. This role supports offshore construction projects by managing acoustic positioning and underwater hydrographic inspections. It spans both bidding and execution phases and involves technical planning, coordination with internal departments, and direct engagement with clients and subcontractors. The Project Surveyor will also be responsible for managing a small offshore survey team.

The Project Surveyor will also be responsible for managing a small offshore survey team.
Key Responsibilities During the Bidding Phase:
- Analyse project documentation to develop positioning and survey strategies and budgets.
- Draft clarifications and responses to client inquiries.
- Prepare Requests for Quotation and evaluate subcontractor procedures.
- Write the method statement for survey and positioning activities.
- Develop detailed specifications and procedures for subcontractors.
- Oversee implementation of positioning and survey systems.
- Ensure accurate data acquisition, reporting, and mapping.
- Manage a small team of offshore surveyors and coordinate with client representatives.
- Represent the client on-site (onshore and offshore) with clients and subcontractors.
- Engineering degree with a minimum of 6–10 years’ experience in offshore construction.
- Proven experience managing small technical teams in offshore environments.
- Strong knowledge of hydrography or topography.
- Proficiency in acoustic positioning tools and hydrographic sensors.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Fluent in English, with strong command of hydrography-specific terminology.
