Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector (E&I) to support the execution of quality control activities across CAT IV–VI EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in greenfield, brownfield, and shutdown projects, with a strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, inspection protocols, and international standards. Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector (E&I) to support the execution of quality control activities across CAT IV–VI EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in greenfield, brownfield, and shutdown projects, with a strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, inspection protocols, and international standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective implementation of Quality Management System and project-specific QA/QC plans.
- Review and validate contractor quality deliverables and ensure alignment with company's specifications.
- Conduct material/equipment receipt inspections, visual and dimensional checks, and verify suitability for installation.
- Perform inspections for site installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of E&I systems.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure availability of the latest project documentation.
- Prepare daily inspection reports and escalate quality concerns to the QA/QC Engineer.
- Participate in quality verification activities such as audits, surveillance, and walkdowns.
- Monitor and close out non-conformances and maintain a register of observations and resolutions.
- Support FAT/SAT activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to company's health, safety, and environmental standards during all project activities.
- Electrical Systems: LV/MV equipment, motors, transformers, switchgears, PDBs, CTs, relays, UPS, battery banks, lighting, and power panels.
- Instrumentation & Control: DCS, ESD, PLCs, transmitters (pressure, level, flow, RTD), gauges, analyzers, tubing, etc.
- Fire & Gas, PAGA, and Telecom Systems.
- Cybersecurity and Network Equipment: Servers, switches, workstations, etc.
- Familiarity with Industrial Control Systems software and processes.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Trade Certifications in Electrical and/or Instrumentation (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles and practices.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards: IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA, NETA, ATEX/IECEx-60079.
- Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Proven track record in greenfield, brownfield, and shutdown projects.
- Experience working in live operating environments with constrained execution windows.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
