SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Regional Brand Manager is responsible to ensure Jotun has a relevant and effective product portfolio in speciality category and solution that meets current and future customer - and regulatory needs to drive profitable growth and secure the clients market position in SEAP. The incumbent will also be responsible to develop and implement insight-based category roadmaps consisting of innovation projects and relevant activities on existing portfolio. Besides that, you will be regionally responsible for the respective category and assortment.



Responsibilities
  • Develop, adjust and implement plans and targets according to Marine and Protective strategy for the assigned Category and ensure that these are communicated and known throughout the business
  • Manage and develop the assigned Category through an in-depth insight of the current and potential application and use of the products, strategic and tactical positioning, and close management of the Category profitability in order to strengthen the brand as a preferred supplier and create profitable growth.
  • Ensure that the product portfolio is relevant and fit-for-purpose by managing the regional assortment and offering guidelines, tools and methods for positioning regional and local assortment in order to ensure that we can meet customer’s needs and expectations.
  • Create and implement Category roadmaps by prioritizing and acting as project manager for selected innovation projects and collaborating with Sales, R&D, TSS and other relevant stakeholders on the Category’s long-term direction in order to ensure that the Category stays well-positioned and relevant in the market.
  • Ensure that Products in Service are maintained and consistent by monitoring use, feedback, positioning and profitability in the market in order to ensure an expected return on investment, quality standards, and Brand recognition.
  • Govern and support local activity by working closely with local sales and marketing networks to ensure the sharing of best practice, knowledge, and potential extended use of local product variations, as well as keep close in touch with the relevant global segment team.
  • Support innovation project team in the region by planning, coordinating and monitoring activities to ensure that the project achieve desired results within agreed schedule.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 4 – 6 years’ of relevant experience required.
  • Preferably have experience and knowledge in Marketing.
  • Must be proficient in verbal and written English.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to travel within the region when required.
