NES Fircroft is recruiting a Research & Development Technician with a focus on seed production to join a leading agricultural company. This role is based at our client's site in Bracknell on a 12 month contract.
As a Research & Development Technician you will carry out day to day production and maintenance of plant and seed materials.

As a Research & Development Technician you will carry out day to day production and maintenance of plant and seed materials.
You will Also be responsible for:
- Maintain plants under glasshouse conditions
- Identify areas for improvements in efficiency
- Accurately keep records and databases current.
- Ensure compliance and regulations on containment and use of genetically modified organisms and licensed plant material in glasshouses, growth rooms and labs.
- General knowledge of plant biology
- Knowledge of seed production and horticultural techniques
- Use of Microsoft office programs
