Driving the new subsea era

In August 2022, Aker Solutions entered into an agreement with SLB and Subsea 7 to form a new Joint Venture for subsea. Our Joint Venture came into effect on the 2nd of October 2023 and has been named OneSubsea.

By forming OneSubsea, SLB, Aker Solutions and Subsea 7 have come together to create the world’s leading subsea technology and solutions provider. We are focused on accelerating innovation to create a step change in subsea production economics and reduce emissions in subsea operations.

The joint venture brings together deep reservoir domain expertise, broad front-end and system design knowledge. We provide an extensive field-proven subsea production and processing technology portfolio, world-class manufacturing scale and capacity, and unique pore-to-process integration capabilities.  

We are now looking for a Risk and Change Lead who wants to strengthen our team and be part of the exciting journey that has just started.
 
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure implementation of the risk & change work in the projects in accordance with the requirements (contractual) and the management system.
  • Ensure all the risk & change activities for the project are planned, organized, and executed according to the project requirements & business objectives.
  • Interface all main project disciplines to get input and perform workshops/meetings to raise risks and create mitigation plans.
  • Support and facilitate activities in Risk tool/register (ARM) and Change Control System (CCS). Arrange platform for review and update of change and risk register with project management team.
  • Manage the risk & change work within subsea projects along with the project management in tenders or executing projects including overseeing other regions and consolidate to project level.
  • Establish and maintain the risk & change administrative systems and framework.
  • Perform compliance activities such as reviews, audits, data analysis and management reviews
 We think you should have:  
  • Higher technical or business education (MSc) within relevant area
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of risk & change management systems and processes
  • Knowledge of subsea industry is a plus
  • Technical or commercial background with an analytical mindset
  • Hands on, independent and service-minded & capacity to work in multifunctional/cultural teams
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams utilities and proficient in digital tools and solutions
  • Fluent in English - verbal and writing skills

Candidates must have valid work permit for Norway.

Work location: Lysaker
