Roofing Supervisor – Gladstone NES Fircroft is partnering with a leading industrial services provider to source an experienced Roofing Supervisor for a long-term opportunity based in Gladstone, QLD.
This is a permanent, full-time role with an established contractor on-site at Boyne Smelters Limited (BSL). The position offers excellent stability, competitive remuneration, and opportunities for long-term career development.

Position Overview As the Roofing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and effective leadership of a multidisciplinary crew engaged in industrial roofing works. Your focus will be on safety, compliance, quality assurance, and performance delivery across various site-based projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day supervision, direction, and mentoring to site crews
- Plan, coordinate, and allocate resources effectively across roofing activities
- Manage labour, material, and equipment usage within allocated budgets
- Ensure compliance with all site-specific WHS standards and procedures
- Develop scopes of work and support project delivery planning
- Liaise closely with the client to manage workflows, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication
- Promote and lead a safety-first, Zero Harm culture onsite
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in a construction or industrial setting
- Strong technical background in Roofing, with a relevant Roof Plumbing Trade Certificate
- Exposure to other construction trades or fields is advantageous
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Current or willing to obtain Yellow 3-Site MediPass
