Role: Safety Officer

• Serve as the liaison between the client, the customer, and contractors regarding all on-site Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) matters.
• Conduct routine site walks and provide coaching and support to workers in performing risk assessments and adhering to safe work plans.
• Carry out spot checks on equipment, tools, and personnel (including both contractor and employees).
• Perform daily inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in the delivery of daily toolbox talks.
• Provide HSE training and awareness sessions on-site as required.
• Support the preparation and management of safety documentation (e.g., hot work permits, confined space entry permits).
• Immediately report all incidents (accidents and near misses) to the Site Manager, HSE team, and the customer.
• Exercise Stop Work authority and assist in investigations when incidents occur or when HSE concerns are raised.
• Maintain regular communication with the ELSE HSE Manager for updates, coordination, and new information.
• Assist in maintaining all HSE records throughout the duration of the project.
• Ensure full compliance
