Position Summary: Audubon Oil and Gas is seeking a skilled and proactive Rig Scheduler to support our upstream drilling and completions operations. This position is based in Houston, TX, with regular travel to Garden City, TX, to coordinate directly with field teams. The Rig Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed rig schedules using Primavera P6 and SAP, ensuring efficient rig utilization and alignment with operational goals. Per diem is provided for travel days to field locations.

The Rig Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed rig schedules using Primavera P6 and SAP, ensuring efficient rig utilization and alignment with operational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage integrated rig schedules for drilling, completions, and workover operations using Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with engineers, field supervisors, and logistics teams to align schedules with operational plans.
- Update schedules in real-time to reflect changes in field conditions, rig availability, and project priorities.
- Interface with SAP to track project costs, procurement timelines, and resource allocations.
- Provide regular reporting on rig utilization, schedule performance, and key metrics.
- Identify scheduling conflicts and recommend solutions to minimize downtime and delays.
- Participate in planning meetings and provide schedule insights to cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all scheduling activities.
- Travel to Garden City, TX as needed to support field operations; per diem provided.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in rig scheduling or project planning in upstream oil and gas.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and SAP is required.
- Strong understanding of drilling and completions operations.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with additional scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Familiarity with Lean or Agile project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and regulatory compliance in oil and gas operations.
