Senior Buyer

SUMMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• To perform procurement activities from receiving requests (SPB/Material Requisition), launching inquiries to Bidders, monitor status of inquiries, until issuance of PO (Purchase Order) and Work Order (WO)
• Review Client requirement on procurement activities
• In coordination with relevant department(s), identify and prepare list of planned Inquiries (RFQs)
• For each inquiry (RFQ), prepare Bidder List based on Client’s and company’s AML
• In coordination with other relevant department(s), prepare Inquiry package to be sent to Bidders as per approved Bidder List
• Float inquiries to the Bidders
• Monitor and expedite Bidders’ quotations within due dates
• Update Inquiry status regularly and store in server
• Coordinating with relevant department(s) and Bidders for technical evaluation.
• Arranging Bidders for meetings with relevant department(s) to sort out technical issues.
• Preparing commercial bid tabulation of Bidders’ quotations
• Arranging meetings with shortlisted Bidders for commercial negotiations & preparing Minutes of Meeting (MOM)
• Prepare Purchase Order (PO) / Work Orders (WO) / Letter Of Intent (LOI) documents.
• Coordinate and provide assistance to Expeditor and Logistic where required

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Minimum held D-3 (Diploma III) Degree.
• Computer literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proficient in English, able to work independently as well and able work under pressure.
• Work experience as Buyer in not less than 2 projects previously.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry.
