NES Fircroft are supporting our valued client, Woodside Energy, who are looking for a Senior Completions Engineer to join their Perth based team on an initial 12 month contract.
This position is required to work across a number of large, complex work scopes - both at Development and Operations phases - to assist a completions team.
Candidates will work acorss Scarborough and GWF4 projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Skills & Experience:
- Degree qualified in Engineering.
- 10-15+ years experience in Completions Engineering
- Owner/Operator exprience highly desirable, bordering on mandatory
- Experience with Assurance activities - this role will undertake a lot of assurance work.
Highly Desirable
- Experienced in both completion design and completion execution - subsea
- Experienced with high rate gas wells
- Experienced in sand control methods (screens | ESS | gravel packs)
- Experienced in smart wells
- Track record in leading well design and execution teams
- Track record at integrating across adjacent functions (reservoir | subsea & pipelines) to deliver best value business outcomes
- Good communicator
- Skilled at mentoring junior staff
