Senior Installation Engineer

NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPCI contractor specialized in Marine & Offshore works who are looking for a Senior Installation Engineer to work on a major FPSO project.

The position will be in our client offices in Monaco and  will operate on a contract basis for an initial 12-month duration for excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop. The role will be required to work in Monaco full time Monday – Friday. In return the individual will be provided with an excellent day rate

Purpose

• The Senior Engineer's purpose is to design and engineer solutions that achieve high standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability, thereby contributing to the projects and organization's strategic objectives and long-term success.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
• You are responsible for proactively planning and completing activities and deliverables within agreed time frame and budget, as well as for ensuring system interfaces.
• You ensure that your Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and internal requirements.
• You ensure applicable lessons learnt are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
• You coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties, in accordance with contractual requirements and internal requirements.
• You may be assigned as a Package Engineer with technical responsibility for the design, procurement and manufacture of the Package.
• You start leading engineers on assigned scope of work
• You may act as Discipline Lead for an assigned scope of work.

Education

• Engineer Diploma in relevant discipline

Experience

• 5 to 10 years in Oil & Gas Industry
• Previous experience in installation engineering  (>8y) especially on Mooring installation (Suction pile , chain SSW, polyester) & Floating unit hookup
• Skills : Orcaflex,  (use of python macro being a plus), Autocad, Microsoft project
• Needs to be autonomous
