Job Title: Senior Manager – Contract Management (Construction Contracts Focused)
Location: Sherwood Park, AB – local candidates or those willing to relocate to the area at their own expense will be considered
Contract Length: 1 year
Schedule: mon-Fri, 40 hours/wk in office
Position Summary:
The Senior Manager - Contract Management oversees contract execution for 3rd party services and construction services for assigned project. With most sourcing activities completed, the role is focused on managing construction execution, including contracts based on unit price, time and material, and reimbursable commercial models. This position ensures effective administration and performance of construction contracts to meet project objectives.

- Manage execution of construction contracts including time and material, unit price, and reimbursable models.
- Administer contracts for 3rd party services and construction execution activities.
- Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams to manage contract deliverables and resolve issues.
- Monitor contract costs, validate invoices, and manage change orders.
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation of contract activities.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in contract management within construction projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial models including time and material, unit price, and reimbursable contracts.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and contract administration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders in a dynamic project environment.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction contract terms and execution practices.
Technical Skills:
- Cost tracking and control for time and material contracts.
- Invoice validation and reconciliation against contract terms.
- Analysis of labor and equipment rates and utilization.
- Change order management and documentation.
- Familiarity with unit price contract structures and measurement verification.
- Understanding of reimbursable contract mechanisms and cost recovery processes.
- Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
