We are currently looking for a Senior Planning Lead to work for our client in Tabangao, Batangas.
  • Integrate schedule with owner’s activities such as but not limited to:
  • Permitry
  • Commissioning activities
  • Assurances hold points
  • Provide leadership to team of schedulers from both Shell and contractors to deliver first quartile project services.
  • Work in a matrix organization to deliver project success through collaboration with other disciplines
  • Manage SIMOPs in scheduling/planning
  • Provide Safety Leadership
  • Validate reports through site visits/verification of progress and provide confirmation to cost engineers on accuracy of VOWD and site progress (working closely with construction team)
  • Advise impact of changes to schedule and project deliverables/commitment
  • Provide Project Leadership with proactive look ahead of schedule health through latest estimated completion dates of key milestones.
  • Responsible for Overall Schedule and Progress of Activities for Integrated Projects in SHIFT
  • Maintain master schedule for Integrated Projects  
  • Utilize/Consolidate Progress Report from EPCM/EPC/Engg Contractor and update the project Dashboards accordingly
  • Produce Integrated Lookahead Schedule (2 Weeks, 1 Month,3 Months)
  • Maintain Milestone Schedule Report with LE and Forecast
  • Track /Report Out Productivity measures
  • Participate /Initiate/Lead Meetings with EPCM/EPC/Engg Contractor and Contractor Partners with regards to Schedule development/Control
  • Produces Schedule packages for approval at different Decision Gates (DG2, DG3 and DG4)
  • Create and maintain logical network of activities for new projects based on IPA tools.
  • Data entry, transfer or import of detail job plans and estimates into scheduling tool.
  • Updates schedule as required( Schedule Control, - Re-baseline if needed)
  • Validate job plan details, including activity description, duration, WBS structure, craft and hours.
  • Determines activity relationships and create logistical ties.
  • Develops critical path and analysis for logic discrepancies
  • Produce/Level manpower needs (Histograms) for the field execution phase
  • Maintain and Monitor Long Lead Items ROS(required on site) dates vs ETA at Site
  • Report progress and KPI’s at various detail levels including: Portfolio reports, Milestone reports, Planning status report, etc.
  • Responsible for project closure within the Scheduling tool.
  • Initiates formulation of plans to mitigate effects of progress, performance or delivery issues to completion dates
  • Participates in review and buy-in of the integrated schedule with key stakeholders
  • Maintains projects coding.
  • Manage change.
  • Lead manpower forecast for the site.
  • Lead planning organization by providing histograms for workface planning/engineering/craft
  • Support Cost organization by providing remaining hours and cost information from Primavera.
  • Participate and comply with all safety programs.
  • Assist with the continuous improvement and implementation of standardized work processes for effective scheduling.
  • Stay current with mandatory training
 
Skills and Competencies
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent certification as a project planner or equivalent preferred with min 5+ years of experience in Project Controls in Oil and Gas Industry with sound knowledge on Project Control Processes and tools and Management Information System (MIS) reporting (Upstream, Downstream, Integrated gas etc.).
  • Having hands on working experience in Project Controls on Oil and gas Capital projects of mid-size/mega projects /portfolio projects with sound knowledge on Processes, best practices and terminologies used in Oil and gas Project controls
  • Proficient in using Project control tools like Primavera P6 etc.
  • Is/have been responsible for the preparation and maintenance of Project Planning for elements of project scope or a portfolio of early-phase prospects (> 100 mln.US$)
  • Proficient in MS Office – Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Visualization tool–MS Power BI.
  • Flair of working with Tools and Data and showcase understanding of processes and apply in working ways of tools and Data management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Communication Skills both verbal and in writing and Strong Stakeholder management skills
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills and proven track record of being self-motivated.
  • Able to work across multiple projects largely unsupervised and deliver results within challenging deadlines and under pressure.
  • Individual contributor role– Mature, proactive, resourceful, and willing to work in staggered hours to cater to global time zones and global customer base. Independent and able to work well with minimal supervision
