Senior Project Engineer - Building & Infrastructure

1. B.Sc. Degree in an Engineering discipline from any recognized University; higher degree would be advantageous.
2. Membership in a recognized professional engineering and/or project management association/institution would be an advantage.
3. A minimum of twelve (12) years relevant experience in engineering, project management and execution of oil & gas projects with at least (5-7) years focused on wastewater plant and/or desalination plant projects.
4. Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary Building & Infrastructure projects from design through handover.
5. Experience managing mega projects independently as the client/owner representative.

 

1. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards and environmental regulations.
2. Can demonstrate skilled practitioner level in the following competencies:

 

• Manage Detailed Design Activities,
• Mange Procurement Activities including Procurement of Long Lead Items,
• Manage Construction Activities,
• Manage Operational Readiness and Assurance Process including Commissioning, Start-up, Handover and Close Out the project,
• Develop Project Execution Strategies and Plans,
• Manage Project technical Interfaces and Management of Change (MOC),
• Manage and Communicate Project Performance,
• Identify and Manage Project Risks,
• Understand and Manage the Schedule and Resource the Plan,
• Manage Contracts including Changes and Variations,
• Manage Contractor Claims and Resolution,
• Identify and manage HSE risk
