Senior Project Engineer - Recruitment Campaign

NES Qatar is currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer for our Qatar based oil and gas client. This is a Direct hire role which also offers family benefits.

The main purpose of the role is to deliver end-to-end project management services for all assigned capital projects. This includes overseeing every phase of the project lifecycle—from inception and planning through to execution, commissioning, and final handover. The role ensures that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and project requirements.

We are looking for candidates with:

• 12+ years of experience in engineering and project management within the oil & gas sector
• Strong background in pipeline and downstream fuel distribution projects (CNG station experience is a plus)
• Experience with dense phase CO₂ pipelines, WAG injection schemes, and mature field development
• Proven ability to manage projects independently as a client/owner representative

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing projects from feasibility to commissioning and handover
• Managing project execution strategies, schedules, budgets, and risks
• Coordinating with multi-discipline engineering teams
• Ensuring operational readiness and successful project close-out

Qualifications:

• A degree in Engineering (master’s preferred)
• Membership in a recognized engineering or project management institution is an advantage
