NES Fircroft have partnered with a leading mining company, currently on the hunt for a Senior Reliability Engineer to grow their faced paced HME Reliability team. The Senior Reliability Engineer will be tasked with leading, guiding, and nurturing the reliability team stationed on-site.

You will be instrumental in driving continuous enhancements and overseeing the defect elimination process to ensure effective action plans are implemented to tackle all major fleet performance issues.


Your role:
  • Cultivate a high-performance team culture by mentoring site engineers and graduates to excel.
  • Champion a reliability-focused ethos in the maintenance department.
  • Aid HME maintenance managers in optimizing fleet performance.
  • Support site engineers in workload management and prioritization.
  • Ensure consistent execution of critical monitoring tasks.
  • Collaborate with HME specialists to refine strategies and engage with OEMs.
  • Proactively manage major maintenance issues to enhance fleet performance.
  • Provide reliability support to ensure equipment maintenance aligns with strategies.
  • Offer backup for core reliability tasks during team absences.

About you:
  • Strong skills in reliability engineering and maintenance engineering ideally within a HME environment.
  • Previous experience working within the mining industry.
  • Leadership experience leading and supporting team members.
  • Competent at facilitating team-based RCAs and training people on the RCA process.
  • Strong communication skills skill.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or a trade background.
  • Any certificates in reliability engineering would be highly desirable.
