Senior Safety Officer

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational Health and Safety ,Bachelor in Engineering  or Science.
• NEBOSH international General certificate or equivalent ( Mandatory)
• ISO 45001 Lead auditor ( Preferred )
• NEBOSH process Safety or equivalent ( preferred)
   
• 6-10  years’ experience in oil and gas ,with at least 2-3  years in LNG  / Gas plant operations
• Experience in Incident investigation and root cause analysis ( TAPROOT- 5-Whys ,,,,etc )
• Safety operations within oil and gas industry and 3 Years in Leadership role .
• Familiar with Major Hazards Analysis scenarios and barrier management
• Proven experience in managing site safety SIMOPS ,turnrounds Shutdowns ,eg Lifting, Confined space ,hot work ,working at height
• Knowledge of process safety elements including HAZID,HAZOP ,and safety critical task analysis   
• Knowledge  of Occupational health and Industrial Hygiene ,Noise monitoring, Heat stress, Radiation ,NORM …etc
• Good understanding of HSEQ management systems and business process .
• Good understanding of Behavioural safety programs and human performance.
