Location: Doha & Ras Laffan, Qatar
Role Summary:
Lead and manage Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) procedures for a major LNG project. Ensure safe execution across all phases, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:

Hiring: Senior Safety Officer – Oil & Gas Sector
Location: Doha & Ras Laffan, Qatar
Role Summary:
Lead and manage Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) procedures for a major LNG project. Ensure safe execution across all phases, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE plans, systems, and studies across project phases
- Review contractor HSE systems and ensure compliance
- Provide technical safety input during engineering and construction
- Lead incident investigations and emergency preparedness
- Analyze safety KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Facilitate safety workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, etc.)
- Promote proactive safety culture and leadership across teams
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Science, or Safety discipline
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- 8+ years in HSEQ / SHE&S roles within Oil & Gas projects
- Strong experience in brownfield/greenfield environments
- Proficiency in safety software (PHAPro, PHAST, Pipenet)
- Skilled in risk assessments, safety studies, and emergency planning
- Ability to interpret engineering documents and collaborate across disciplines
