Senior SAS/Automation Engineer  
 
Contract period: 06.05.2024 - 30.05.2025
Location: Stavanger

Main Tasks:

- Prepare automation documentation: Layout's, SCDs, logic diagram, block diagrams, Cause & effect, IO/signal list, HMI mark-up
- Establish and design control and shut-down control philosophy and logic
- Prepare engineering work package for Automation sub-vendor
- Prepare technical specification for modification of platform control system and vendor follow-up. (ESD, PSD, PCS, F&G)
- Perform Offshore survey
- Follow-up planning dates and milestones
- Participate in Factory Acceptance test, and offshore testing if required
- Prepare Study reports
- Comply with the company's HSE guidelines and QA objectives
- Contribute with technical solutions to reduce CO2 footprints and how to utilize standards solutions
- Ensure that discipline deliverables are in compliance with work processes and procedures

Qualifications:
- Formal higher education degree in engineering is preferred
- Experience and knowledge of industry standard communication protocols and principles for field instrumentation (Flow, Level, Fire & Gas detection, etc.)
- Experience with Norsok, ATEX, IEC. Experience preparing MTO's
- Preferable experience with STID, ProCoSys, SAP, Proarc and IFS
- Experience from maintenance and modification projects in Oil and Gas industry is preferred
- Experience from a control system vendor is an advantage. Design, developing, and programming of control system logic
- Experience within Field Instrumentation is a plus
- Strong communication and cooperation skills
- Good Norwegian and English skills, spoken and written
- Structured and systematic approach
- Good analytic skills
- Have the ability to work independently and in a team, to be proactive and focused on safety and project goals
- Solution oriented and proactive concerning multidiscipline challenges
