Due to demand for their fresh perspective and continued growth our client is currently looking for an experienced, well rounded and collaborative Senior Civil Engineer.
You will have full New Zealand experience working with minimal guidance on completing complex civil engineering designs for subdivision, roading and building developments, you will have an excellent understanding of geotechnical requirements, value and enhance client relationships and be a role model in the civil and geotechnical team.

Key Accountabilities
- Advanced Civil 3D skills for civil engineering designs for subdivision, roading and general infrastructure projects.
- Complex stormwater and wastewater systems for residential and commercial developments.
- Guiding junior engineers through civil designs and reviewing their work
- Culvert design and assessments of existing stormwater catchments
- Traffic impact assessments
- Working independently and helping to train junior engineers.
- Being involved with quoting projects, managing project budgets and invoicing
- Other duties as directed by management
Competencies
- Bachelor of Engineering Technology or similar qualification preferred
- 5-10 Years Experience. At least 4 years NZ experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Civil 3D and other civil design software
- NZ Driver’s License
- Proven success in navigating local authority dynamics.
