Senior Subsea Engineer
Contract period: 03.06.2024 - 03.06.2027
Location: Stavanger
Main Tasks:
- Follow up technical integrity of subsea systems
- Manage subsea system barriers and equipment health
- Risk assessment and risk management related to subsea equipment
- Plan, perform and analyse results from test, inspection, maintenance and monitoring activities
- Ensure operational and intervention procedures include best practice relating to subsea equipment
- Identify degraded, damaged or failed equipment and manage fault finding, investigation, repair or replacement activity, including writing procedures and supervising work offshore
- Manage deliveries and services from subsea suppliers
- Provide input to project basis of design and functional specifications, provide operational input to project delivery and support efficient handover and start-up of new equipment
- Identify improvement opportunities across disciplines and assets, including continuous improvement of strategies and work processes
- Cost management for all Asset subsea budgets
Qualifications:
- Master or Bachelor degree in relevant discipline (Marine Technology, Subsea Technology, Cybernetics, Mechanical Engineering or similar)
- Operational experience with technical follow up of subsea facilities in operations phase
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with subsea facilities in operations phase
- Relevant experience can compensate for formal qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English and Norwegian fluently
- Strong personal drive and ability to drive and motivate teams
- Strong performer and ability to work under pressure
